Inter Milan Fined After Muntari Suffered Abuse

Inter Milan have been slapped with a 20,000 thousand euros fine after their fans racially abused Sulley Muntari on Sunday. The Ghanaian super star, who is on loan from Inter to Milan and is widely regarded as having been a flop for the nerazzaurri, was jeered throughout the match but the Italian sporting justice authorities decided that some of that contained expressions of racial discrimination. Milan were fined 10,000 euros for banners hung up by their fans, also considered to be insulting towards Inter. Inter recorded a 4-2 victory over their rivals which eventually handed the Scudetto to Juventus.
