Hikari Owner Samson Odai Threatens Legal Action Against Ghana FA

Hikari FC Chief Executive Samson Odai has threatened to drag the Ghana FA to court if any outgoing Eastern regional executive is drafted into the newly constituted interim body. Eastern Regional FA boss Alhaji A.A Lawah and his rival Nana Budu have been involved in a long-standing litigation which has stalled the progress of football in the region. But the second-tier CEO who is now keen for an out-of-court settlement after dragging the FA to court over the matter says he might be forced to continue with the legal action if members of the two feuding parties are drafted into the interim committee. I have decided to take the matter out of court if anyone in the current management is named in the new committee, well resist with all the legal means at our disposal, Odai said We want members who are not affiliated to any feuding party to be involved in the restricting of football in the region. We want to ensure the grounds will be fair for everybody otherwise the business of football in the region will continue to be at standstill. No one is happy at the current situation but the selfish interest of some people, have accounted to the problems that are facing us,
