Buk Bak Shakes London

Last Saturday night May 5th 2012 saw legendary Ghanaian music group Buk Bak rocking the several hundreds of ravers who thronged the Agenda Bar in London for the much anticipated Azonto Party organized by Akwaaba UK. Aside the energy they mounted the stage with, the group got the night on the high as they managed to get the entire audience jumping throughout to performances of their chain of hit songs. However, the nights climax was their performance of the track Kolom. The Agenda Bar erupted with cheers and excitement when the DJ looped a teaser of Buk Baks Azonto banging Kolom track. Before preparing the audience for the night anticipation, Buk Bak took the audience back into several of their old classics. The groups performance of Kolom was greeted with overwhelming joy alongside never-seen Azonto dance movements from sections of the audience. It was a spectacle to watch how the group effortless connected with the crowd to get them going with them all night. And when the group had to leave the stage after their performance, they audience kept screaming for more. Without a doubt, Buk Bak was just too much on the night and left the audience numbering over eight hundred with an experience to linger on their minds for a long while. It was a rather unfortunate story for over two hundred ravers who had to be turned away as the venue couldnt host them. The night saw a rotation on sets between the very finest of DJs a raver can ever wish for on a single night. DJ Bibi, DJ Fiifi, DJ Sawa, DJ Invisible, Funky n Fresh, Chris Vibes Entertainment and the Specialist Crew threated the audience to the very best of Afrobeats, Azonto, Hip Hop, Hip Life, RnB, Funky House, Old Skool Garage and Slow Jam. Before the nights event, Buk Bak had a series of exciting interviews on various Radio and Television platforms including BBC One Xtra (with the super celebrity anchor Tim Westwood), Voxx TV, Rainbow Radio and Choice FM. The Azonto Party Tour has been one of the intriguing concepts and currently one of the most sought after events by the premiere event management company, Akwaaba UK. Ravers are now on the watch out for the next Azonto Party Tour in June/July with D Cryme, Nana Boro and Yaw Siki. Now, the multimillion dollar question is who rocks London at the next Azonto Party Tour in June/July? Akwaaba UK continues this weekend with the ever prestigious Glamorous Show on Saturday May 19th 2012 at Abacus (Next to the Bank Tube Station). According to Elliot Kessie, the Glamorous Show on May 19th will be one unforgettable night of unending excitement as it also serves as the birthday of Radical D.
