Berekum Chelsea midfielder Solomon Asante has been handed a late call-up to the Ghana squad for next month�s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zambia. The two-time Burkina Faso Premier League top scorer replaces Bristol City winger Albert Adomah who is unable to join the team after picking up a knee injury. The former Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy graduate has international exposure after featuring for Burkina Faso in a friendly against South Africa in August last year. Asante�s last season for ASFA Yennega saw him score 14 goals to win the top scorer award before joining Chelsea this term. He has played a key role in Berekum Chelsea qualification to the money zone of the CAF Champions League.
