Swedish Resident, Lena Pettersson, got more than she bargained for during a flight from Amsterdam to Tanzania. According to the International Business Times, Pettersson was sitting next to a man who passed away in mid-flight on Kenya Airways from unknown causes. Though his appearance and behavior seemed a little out of the ordinary before he passed, the plane decided to take off anyway. Flight attendants removed those sitting next to man to other areas of the plan, laid his body over three seats and covered him with a blanket. When Pettersson asked to be moved, all extra seats were occupied and she was forced to remain in her original seat next to the man. While she felt the experience was unpleasant, she didn�t cause a fuss over her situation. �Of course it was unpleasant,� Pettersson said later to a local newspaper. �But I am not a person who makes a fuss.� Once reaching her destination she asked for a refund, but only received $713 (5000 kronor), half of the ticket price. However, Pettersson is pleased with the refund no matter what. �This feels much better. It is reasonable,� she said of the amount. Authorities have yet to release the name of the dead passenger.
