Senior Citizens have expressed support for the government's implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy aimed at enhancing the salary of workers. They have also expressed gratitude to the government for increasing the monthly allowance of retired workers. The senior citizens said this at a luncheon with President Mills at the State Banquet Hall in Accra. Speaking on behalf of the senior citizens, former Commander of the Police MTTU, ACP Victor Tandoh lauded efforts by the government to adequately equip the security agencies to enable them to carry out their mandate successfully.
