Rawlingses Party Name Interim National Chairman

Unconfirmed reports reaching peacefmonline.com say a former National Executive Committee (NEC) member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been named as the Interim National Chairman of the new political party believed to have been formed by former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings. Information gleaned from the corridors of the former First Family indicate that former General Secretary of the NDC, Dr. Nii Armah Josiah Aryeh, is the Interim National Chairman of the National Democratic Party (NDP), reportedly 'owned' by the Rawlingses. Some individuals have also already been designated to hold certain key positions under the new political party including Dr. Rockson Mamboi, an assocaite of Mrs Rawlings, who is the NDP's General Secretary. A former NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso Central, Dr. Ofei Agyeman, in an interview on PeaceFM's "Kokrokoo" Morning Show, admitted to Nana Yaw Kese, who is sitting in for the regular host and Olympic Torchbearer, Kwami Sefa Kayi that most of the founding members of this party are disgruntled members of the NDC. He also revealed that they have already met with officials from the Electoral Commission to get the green light to participate fully in this years elections.
