Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty Re-launched
The Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty LEAP, Programme has been re-launched in Accra. The LEAP Programme empowers persons living in abject poverty with grants to enable them to live better lives.
The new phase of the programme has a revised operational manual with new social intervention policies aimed at making beneficiaries economically independent.
Vice President John Mahama who re-launched the LEAP urged beneficiaries not to rely on the programme forever but work towards becoming self reliant to allow other people to benefit.
