A member of the diplomatic corps has impressed upon Ghanaians to have substantial trust in the country's electoral system. He said it is the responsibility of Ghanaians to ensure that the country conducts another round of free, fair and transparent elections in December. It is therefore incumbent on citizens to demonstrate political tolerance by accommodating divergent views. Speaking at a Star-Ghana election convention in Accra, Ambassador Claude Maerten, Head of EU Delegation in Ghana, pledged continuous financial and technical support to good governance systems in the country.
