SIX Die In Nkawkaw Accident

Six persons have died in a fatal accident which occurred on the Nkawkaw road on Saturday night. A Mercedes Sprinter bus with registration number AS 8675 -12, which was travelling to Accra from Kumasi reportedly run into an unregistered KIA Mini Bus at the Nkawkaw by pass while trying to overtake a VVIP bus. According to the Eastern Regional Police Command, five out of the six got burned beyond recognition when the Sprinter bus caught fire after the head-on collision with the KIA Mini BUS and have not yet been identified. Speaking to Citi News, the Eastern Regional Police Commander, DCOP Gyamerah Yeboah said, 18 persons who suffered severe injuries are receiving treatment at the Holy Family Hospital. According to him, �the dead bodies have also been deposited at the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw.�
