The Chief Operating Officer of Globacom Ghana, George Andah has left Glo Ghana for a new appointment. Mr. Andah has been reassigned as the Director for Marketing Operations for Glo West Africa. He has since left Ghana to assume his new post and his position as the Chief Operating Officer of Glo Ghana, according to sources is likely to be filled by Patrick Awotwi, currently the Sales Director at Globacom Ghana. Mr. Andah joined Glo Ghana in late 2011 after a brief stint with Bharti Airtel. He has been described by some market watchers in Ghana's telecommunications industry as a significant pillar in the country's telecom revolution. He was instrumental in the growth of some big brands in Ghana including Guinness Ghana, MTN and now Glo.
