The Ashaiman Constituency Executive of the NDC has welcomed the decision of the Regional and National Leadership of the party to expel, Anthony Afenyo, one of the candidates who contested and lost the Constituency primaries for his decision to go Independent. At a Press Conference in Ashaiman, the Constituency Propaganda Secretary, Lucy Rio-Serbie said the party hierarchy has taken various steps to impress upon Mr Afenyo to rescind his decision but he remains adamant. Madam Rio-Serbie explained that the decision to dismiss Mr Afenyo was carefully thought through after all the due processes were exhausted.
