NDCs Communication Team Needs To Be Re-baptized - IMANI

We are getting into a phase where the election will be based on issues if you do have the same communication team that has served us in the last couple of months or years being part of this same campaign team, Im not too sure the message that needed to be communicated will be done effectively. If he (President Mahama) mistakenly uses the same communication team, Im not too sure his message will be well said The above statement was made by Mr. Franklin Cudjoe, Executive Director of Imani Ghana. He was speaking in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FMs Kokrokoo Morning Show. According to policy analyst, if President Mahama does not bring a change in the current communication team, some of the mistakes that were committed over the past years and months are likely to be repeated; adding, some of the challenges the government has faced ought to be communicated in a manner which is respectful and cordial. What I am saying is that the communication team either needs to be re-baptized so that they change or the structure, the form, and the substance have to drastically change and I think it has begun with the choosing of Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur the IMANI Ghana boss said. Giving his take on the selection of Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, former Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), as a Vice-President, Mr Cudjoe said because Mr. Amissah has a professional look and cannot be said to belong to any of the power blocs within the party, he is best suited for the job since he can reach out to everybody in the party. Two years ago, we conducted a poll. We realized that Mr. Amissah Arthur was the most inspirational Public Sector leader; considering how he performs his work independentlyWe also said looking at the way he engages people, we thought that if you needed someone who was going to reach to the various ranks, Amissah Arthur is not so attached to any entrenched base within that party (NDC) that he can be accused of belonging to the Rawlings faction or any other faction within itHe has a very professional outlook which we need at this time especially for President Mahama to communicate effectively the issues that weve been confronted with over the last period of years. Mr. Amissah Arthur is bringing on board not just his professional expertise, but his ability to communicate effectively
