Nana Addo: Vote Out Incompetent And Non Performing NDC Gov't

Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, has posited that the NPP is seeking to govern the country once again not because they desire to payback their political opponents in their own coin, but to create an atmosphere that will allow all Ghanaians no matter their political colours to participate freely in the growth of our economy. Speaking at the ratification of the partys manifesto at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), the NPP leader said; We seek victory in December not to lord it over the people of Ghana but to serve the people of Ghana. We seek victory not to enrich ourselves but to give good governance to our nation. We seek victory not to punish or penalize our political opponents but to create an atmosphere that will allow all Ghanaians no matter their political colours to participate freely in the growth of our economy. The NPP flagbearer asserted that victory for the NPP in December will herald the implementation of new policies that will transform the countrys economy and bring prosperity to all. Whiles pledging to create jobs for the youth, support farmers and fishermen to improve their output to give Ghana food security, Nana Addo also vowed to introduce an aggressive housing policy to give homes to Ghanaians. He, however, pointed out that all the good intentions he has for the nation can only be realized if the NPP is victorious in December. We have to win in December and vote out the incompetent and non performing NDC administration. And for us to do so, we need to remember to work very, very, very hard to take our message of hope and prosperity to all parts of our country and to all the homes of our country, he added. The Delegates Conference, which is a requirement of the partys constitution, preceded the formal launch of the partys campaign to be held at Mantse Agboena. The theme for the conference was There Is Hope For Ghana. The 2012 Manifesto of the NPP was presented and adopted by delegates. Turning his attention to the over 6,000 delegates from across the country who congregated at the Dome, the NPP Presidential candidate urged party members to close their ranks and forge ahead in unity. I have left the presidential primaries behind. I am working with everybody to guarantee victory in DecemberFor us to be able to do so, we need to remember two things; we have to work very, very hard. All of us, to take our message of hope and prosperity to all parts of our country and all the homes of our countrywe need to also continue to stay united. The Ghanaian people are happy about the unity in our party and we should continue down that path and I am working with everybody in this party to guarantee us victory and I am calling on all of you to do same, Nana Addo stressed.
