Asamoah Gyan Inspires Youngsters At Black Stars Camp

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan says determination is what has brought him this far in his football career. The 26-year-old has played in his native country, Italy, France, England and now in the UAE in his nine-year professional career so far. And Gyan in interacting with youngsters at the Black Stars camp at the Alisa Hotel adviced them to be determined in his bid to inspire. Youll never believe this but when I was in JSS I used to tell my friends that I will play in the national team one day and I will be the first to qualify the team to the World Cup, That was in 2003, so when I had the opportunity I said to myself that hey this is it. I played about five minutes and scored within five minutes against Somalia. So Id say you should be just determined and if only that is what you want to do, never doubt you can achieve it. Gyan didnt only help Ghana to qualify for the World Cup for the first time ever, but made history by scoring the fastest goal at the mundial against Czech Republic in the 2006 edition staged in Germany.
