Deputy Majority Leader Asks Electorate To Support EC To Organize, Free, Fair And Transparent Elections

The Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament, Rashid Pelpuo has asked Ghanaians to support the Electoral Commission to police and ensure free, fair and transparent elections this year, even with the creation of the new constituencies. Speaking on GBC TV, Mr Pelpuo encouraged all especially political parties to trust the EC to play its role effectively in the electioneering, since it has good record for regulating and conducting peaceful elections in Ghana and across the sub region. The NPP Member of Parliament for Manhyia, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh entreated the Electoral Commission to be mindful of the law it intends to use to register Ghanaians on diplomatic missions abroad as well as nationals studying Overseas.
