Nana Ohene Ntow Robbed At Gunpoint

A former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ohene Ntow, was robbed at gunpoint on Wednesday night. Narrating his ordeal to Citi News, Nana Ntow said, At about 2 am, I was asleep in my room and usually I would lock my bedroom door before I go to sleep; I realized someone was trying to force it open. I thought it was my young son, so I started calling his name, yet he didnt respond. He added, So I was surprised because usually when he tries to open my door and I call him he responds, fortunately I had locked the key so I just kept quiet in the room for a while and then somebody started saying, open the door and I said who are you, he said if you dont open the door I will force it. I opened the door and here was this gentleman masked with a machete and another thing that looked like a pistol and he said he had been sent to come and kill me, but I looked like a pastor so he was not going to kill me but whatever money I have I should bring it. He failed to disclose how much was taken from him. Nana Ntow has since reported the case to the police. This is the second high profile robbery case in two weeks after the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament, Albert Kan-Dapaah, was robbed at gunpoint at his Dansoman residence.
