Vice President Amissah Arthur has emphasized the need to pay attention to the �sayings� of party founder, former President Jerry John Rawlings. This follows the short but thought-provoking speech delivered by the former president at the just-ended launch of the party's Manifesto for the next four years. Former President Rawlings among other things said President John Dramani needs prayers in order to be able to kick out the negative people around him. Speaking in an interview with Metro TV moments after the launch, the Vice President pointed out that in life, virtually everyone needs to be prayed for. He however noted that since Mr. Rawlings is an experienced and an astute politician, he must have gathered a great deal of knowledge as president and for that reason, it is important the NDC pays attention to his statements. �I think that we all need prayers in government and the point that he has made, I'm sure that we will listen to him on the specific instances that he is talking about so that we can deal with it. He has a lot of experience in this country and there is nothing that you can do without listening to him,� he asserted.
