Mr. Andrew Okaikoi, husband to former Information Minister, Zita Okaikoi has filed as an Independent candidate for the Okaikoi Central Constituency. His decision to go independent comes after his nomination form was rejected by the Electoral Commission on Wednesday because another candidate Abdul Nasiru Abbas had also filed to contest the same seat for the NDC.
