MTN Ghana has rewarded eleven subscribers with a laptop and a modem for being winners in the first week of the �ifest� month celebration. The �ifest� month was launched last month to drive public awareness about the company�s data offering. It was also aimed at increasing awareness of MTN data offerings on the market . The winners were drawn from all the 10 regions and will continue till the end of October where the company would have given out a total of 88 laptops. According to the Data and Device Manager of MTN Ghana, Mr Kwadwo Okyere Amoako, the giving out of laptops and modems was to afford subscribers the opportunity to further explore the use of the Internet in their daily endeavours. MTN Ghana, he explained, was working with selected radio stations who read out tit bits or the question for the day to which customers are to answer to be part of the competition. He said to win a prize in the competition, customers must answer questions on the use of the Internet and MTN in general. Some staff of MTN who played key roles during the exercise were also rewarded with mobile phones and laptops. Some were also required to share ideas on how to serve customers better by the Internet packages as well as get more subscribers on board the network through an essay.
