I'm Undaunted By Insults And Lies Against Me - Prez Mahama

President John Mahama says he is unperturbed by what he describes as insults and lies directed at his person by his political opponents in an apparent attempt to distract him from winning the impending elections. He assured the people that he would not engage in the politics of insult and neither will he superintend same stressing �politics is not dirty; it is politicians who make politics dirty.� According the President some of his political opponents are peddling falsehood and lies because they cannot not match what he says is the numerous achievement of the NDC government. Addressing a rally at the Sefwi Wiaso in the Western region on Tuesday night, the president said he believes GhanAians are discerning people who will be able to determine which candidate and party has their interest at heart. President Mahama said when politicians realize that their electoral fortunes are dwindling; they engage resort to character assassination in order to claw back some gains. �This will not make us surrender, we will do what we�ll do,� he said, adding no man can destroy someone who has been blessed by God. President Mahama said he will not be tricked into responding to such unwarranted attacks on his person and that the judgement of those engaging in such an act will soon be meted out to them.
