President John Dramani Mahama is again pleading with the People of the Northern Region irrespective of their ethnic groups to see themselves as one people and unite towards a common goal. Addressing various rallies at Walewale, Gambaga, Nalerigu, Bunkprugu, Yunyoo and Nyankpanduri, the President noted that development has eluded the People of the North because of petty quarrels, there is therefore the need to create a platform for peace upon which development can be built. As a native of the land, President Mahama says he commits himself to ensuring that Unity is sustained for the roll out of massive infrastructural development in the three regions of the North.
