Though cervical cancer is one of the killer diseases, its awareness is very low. In order to increase the awareness level of this disease, the government is partnering a team of Gynaecologists and Onchologists from Italy to educate the public on the dangers of cervical cancer. The Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira, led the free cervical cancer screening in Accra where GBC's correspondent Naa Atswei Sowah was present.
