Nana Addo To Lead A Government Devoid Of Vindictiveness

The presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has promised to lead a government devoid of vindictiveness and acrimony. He said it is not part of his personality to victimizs his political opponents. Nana Addo said this when he paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional House of Chiefs as part of his �Restoration of Hope Tour� in the region. Nana Addo also pledge to bridge the political gap between the NPP and the Volta Region. Nana Addo received a rousing welcome on the first day of his �Restoration of Hope Tour� in the Volta region, a region considered as the world bank of the National Democratic Congress, NDC. Nana Addo first paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional House of Chiefs. His purpose is to seek permission from the custodian of the land to campaign in that region and introduce himself as the presidential candidate of the NPP. Nana Addo used the occasion to brief the chiefs on his quest to provide fee quality Senior High School, SHS. Nana Addo maintained that his promise to make SHS free is not to win political power but to prepare the citizenry for a modern economy. Nana Addo once again stressed the need to live as one people irrespective of once political affiliation. Nana Addo said his government has no room for political vindictiveness. He promised to bridge the political gap between the NPP and the people of Volta. He said he will the person to bridge that gap to enhance the peace and reconciliation in the country. The president of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, Togbe Afede, said his region is excited by Nana Addo�s quest to make education free up to the Senior High school. He said the region is impressed by the commitment to bring prosperity to the people. Togbe Afede advised politicians to eschew tribalism as a way of getting vote. He said Ghanaians are one people and such comments have the tendencies of dividing the nation. Nana Akufo Addo will spend two days in the region and hold its first series of regional rallies in the Volta region.
