Days after joining the campaign of the Progressive People�s Party (PPP), the founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor has been given a 5.7L, I Force Toyota Tundra V8 vehicle to prosecute the PPP agenda. The 58 year old maverick farmer turned politician has also been furnished with a driver and two �minders� on her expected nationwide tour on behalf of the presidential candidate, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom and the party�s parliamentary candidates. On a recent visit to the studios of Adom FM, Madam Akua Donkor extolled the virtues of Dr Nduom, saying he is the one who best reflects the ideals that led to her formation of the GFP. Madam Akua Donkor burst onto Ghana�s political scene in recent times with a promise to make the lives of Ghanaians a virtual paradise on earth. Journalists and teachers in particular were promised free cars and petrol if she was voted as president. Unfortunately, her nomination papers were rejected by the Electoral Commission. Speaking to Adomonline.com, Madam Donkor said a GFP government under her leadership would have provided a large variety of cars such as her new ride for journalists, �who have helped me get where I am by spreading my message. NDC and NPP are all thieves!' she declared.
