I Dont Know What NDC Have Done To Win With 52.2 Percent-NPP

Deputy Director of Communication of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has pooh-poohed on a recent polls that was published by Ben Ephson Jr, a pollster and Editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper. According to the polls, President John Dramani Mahama is expected to sweep 52.2 percent of the votes while his closest rival, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win 44.7 percent of the votes. The remaining 5 parties and the independent presidential candidate are expected to take home 3.1 percent of the total valid votes cast. Speaking in an interview on Peace FMs morning show Kokrokoo with Kwami Sefa-Kayi, Samuel Awuku said he is surprised that Ben Ephson is still issuing polls after the poll he published in 2008 failed. According to him, in 2008, Ben Ephson said the NPP will win the elections but that failed, adding, I am surprised by the statistics. According to him, he does not see the probability of the results of the polls because the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has brought untold hardship on Ghanaians. He alluded to the fact that it is a good thing for the NDC to rely on the polls because if he said NPP will win in 2008 and it failed, it means the NDC will lose this time around. I dont know the economic success President Mahama has achieved within the four months that he became the president; not to even talk of various difficulties in this country. I dont know how all that can translate into 52%. However, if they rely on these polls I will be so excited because in 2008 the same man published another poll saying the NPP will win the elections and gain the majority in parliament but that wasnt the case; we lost and had the minority. The best opinion poll is for Ghanaians to vote come 7th December he said.
