The presidential candidate of the People�s National Convention (PNC), Mr Hassan Ayariga, was born on September 4, 1972 in Bawku in the Upper East Region of Ghana. His father, Frank Abdulai Ayariga, was a Member of Parliament for the Bawku Constituency during the Third Republic led Dr Hilla Limann and his mother is Anatu Ayariga is a business woman. Mr Ayariga settled in Nigeria when his parents went into exile after the overthrow of the Limann Administration. He attended Ghana Secondary School before moving to Nigeria where he attended Barewa College in Zaria, where he studied accountancy and then went to the London School of Accountancy. He has an Executive MBA in Governance and Leadership. He started work as an accountant with WaffenSchimdt GmBH in Germany and then as Quality Control manager at Peter Huppertz Ford motors in Germany for 10 years before going into business. Mr Ayariga is a businessman with many business interests both in Ghana and abroad. He is currently the chairman and CEO of Hassan Ayariga & Co. Haulage Company and Chief Executive of Clean Up Ghana, a waste management company. In 2004 he contested for the vice chairmanship of the PNC but later withdrew. Mr Ayariga defeated veteran PNC candidate Dr Edward Mahama at the primaries of the party. Hassan Ayariga is married to Anita. They have three daughters and two sons. CV Of Michael Abu Sakara Foster Dr Michael Abu Sakara Foster, the presidential candidate of the Convention People�s Party (CPP) in the December 7 election, was born at Damongo in the Northern Region on August 15, 1958. Dr Sakara Foster�s official CV says he began school in Kpembe Primary school, East Gonja, at age six years and then moved to Sawla Primary school for a short period. Thereafter he came back to school in Salaga until the 1966 after which he was sent to study and live with friends of his father, Mr and Mrs Foster, evangelical missionaries. He entered Yendi Secondary school as a pioneer in 1972. Under the stewardship of the Fosters he later went to study in the United Kingdom where he obtained his first degree in Soil Science from the University of Reading in 1982. Dr Sakara Foster obtained his MSC. in Applied Plant Sciences from Wye College, University of London in 1984 and received his Ph.D in Applied Agricultural Botany from University of Reading in 1987. Dr Sakara Foster�s work experience as an Agronomist spans over 29 years of international agricultural development work in Africa and the Americas. He is is a specialist in agriculture and rural development (Development Agronomist). Dr Sakara Foster contested in the 2007 CPP congress and won a position as the first National vice chair person he was then elected presidential candidate of the CPP in 2012. He is the Executive Director, Rural and Agricultural Development Associates. CV of Addai Odike Akwasi Addai Odike, presidential candidate of the United Front Party (UFP) in the December 7 election, was born on September 13, 1964 at Adwumakase- Kese in the Ashanti Region. He attended Aduman Secondary School in the Ashanti Region where he completed his GCE Ordinary Level. Mr Addai Odike, who is married is also the Chief Executive Officer of Odike Ventures.
