Manifest, Efya To Perform @ Alliance Fran�aise

Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Manifest, will on Friday December 14, rock the Alliance Francaise in Accra with a concert that will feature sleek singer Efya. Noted for a magnetic stage presence, he has performed with several internationally acclaimed artistes including Damon Albarn, Flea, Tony Allen and Erykah Badu. The bearded star has also featured on five songs on the �Rocket Juice & the Moon� album, which was recorded by Albarn, Allen and Flea. Twice nominated for the 2012 Ghana Music Awards in the Best Rapper of the Year and Songwriter of the Year categories, Manifest has performed in various parts of Accra and beyond since his return from the United States a few years ago. An economist by training, Manifest is the co-founder of Giant Steps, an interactive conference for creative entrepreneurs. He is also one of three artists featured in the documentary, �We Rock Long Distance� by filmmaker Justin Schell. In a related event, the third edition of �Indie Fuse�, an annual musical extravaganza, will take place also at the Alliance Fran�aise on Saturday December 15, with several artistes scheduled to perform. The artistes include EL (Hiphop), DJ Olugbenga of Metronomy (Electric Afro Beat), Liquideep (South African House), Kae Sun (Futuristic Folk), Faintmetal (Pidgen Rock), Paapa of Skillions Records (Electro Soul) and Zantou Lansrr (Nigerian Blues). Institut Fran�ais (Ghana) in collaboration with Alliance Fran�aise (Accra) are supporting both concerts.
