The tension associated with the year's general elections intensified and skyrocketed as all the political parties rounded up years and months of political campaigns with mammoth rallies, Wednesday evening.
Incidentally, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the two largest political parties - in terms of numbers - choose to hold their last rallies canvassing votes from Ghanaians in the capital -the Accra International Trade Fair Centre for the NDC and the Efua Sutherland Children's Park for the NPP.
Speaking at the NDC rally which was held at the La Trade Fair Centre, President Dramani Mahama said the NDC's imminent victory will be dedicated to the memory of the late President Prof. John Evans Atta Mills.
Sounding confident of an NDC victory since the party has done enough to better the lives of Ghanaians, President Mahama called on NDC faithfuls to be vigilant ahead of the election,
�if this election is peaceful and everything is done according to plan, I am confident that the NDC will win this election come December 7," he said.
