Prez Mahama Prays For "Wisdom of Solomon And Courage of David"

President-elect John Dramani Mahama has prayed for wisdom, courage and discernment to lead God's people - Ghana - on the path of prosperity and development. Speaking at Aglow Women�s Ministry December Worship and Prayer Session at the Independence Square in Accra, President Mahama urged Ghanaians to put the elections behind them, unite and build the country. The president indicated that Ghana�s unity makes the country unique and paves way for development. He made a passionate prayer to God: "I pray for the wisdom of Solomon and the courage of David in order to rule this country." Several hours of praise and exaltation dubbed the �Aforebo Kese� were administered to God. National President of the Ministry Dorothy Danso offered gratitude to God for answering the nation�s prayers for peace prior to the general elections. Several bands and choirs took part in the hallelujah chorus and special worship songs ministration, which preceded President Mahama's address. The National Prayer Director of the Ministry, Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, led intercessory prayers for the country and made prophetic declarations to the president. �If you don�t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor sit on the seat of sinners and do not stand in the way of the scornful, whatever you doeth, you shall prosper,� she prophesied. The Aglow Women�s Ministry monthly worship and prayer sessions are aimed at spiritually safeguarding the country for prosperity. This month�s programme was focused on thanking God for peaceful polls.
