VIDEO: Okyeame Kwame Shows Versatility At "Versatile Show"

Characteristic of the rap doctor with regards to his creativity, Okyeame Kwame did not disappoint Ghana as he pulled what could be termed the biggest, well rehearsed and exceptional concert in the entertainment calendar of 2012 with the Mr Versatile Concert which happened on December 14th 2012 at the National Theatre, Accra. The event which had been so much talked about coupled with series of rehearsals been broadcast on TV finally came to a reality when fans from all walks of life ranging from musicians, politicians, actors and actresses filled the National Theatre for the showdown. Key among these personalities was Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings. Starting performances with acapella groups, the Rap Doctor made a dramatic entry quite synonymous to the known story of Okomfo Anokye commanding the golden Stool from the skies. Coming out of a (fontomfrom, traditional dance drum) which descended from the skies, the Rap Doctor who looked sharply dressed in his African prints started with startling performances of his old Akyeame songs. Continuing with amazing collaborations with Old Soja, Slim Buster,Bradez, Richie Mensah of Lynx entertainment and a lot more, Okyeame Kwame also evoked Tinny and Edem who could not perform live due to their role as Glo ambassadors through a hologram. With main characters such as Raquel and the rap Doctor himself acting out the entire album and not just pieces of musical performances, one could only describe Okyeame Kwame's album as a story yet untold unless witnessed on stage. A show described by most industry personalities and patrons on the night as historical and epic. In a comment posted by Lawyer Kwame Koduah Atuahene on NY DJ's wall describing the event as the best well rehearsed and executed show, he said, Say it Loud.....Okyeame Kwame raised the bar.... Not just rap but all round creative sell out". The event which was put together by One Mic Entertainment, Roverman Productions and MTN is intended to be replicated in the remaining 9 regions of Ghana. Watch video of the show below:
