The Progressive People�s Party (PPP) has expressed repulsion at the �unfounded� allegation that is being purported by leader and founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor. Madam Akua Donkor at a press conference organized on Thursday, accused the PPP of threatening her life after she refused to yield to the party�s request of returning the Toyota Tundra vehicle handed her by the flagbearer of the party, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom for campaign purposes. Speaking in an interview on Peace FM's 6pm evening news bulletin, Divine Nkrumah, National Youth Organizer of PPP said her allegations were �baseless� and �unfounded�. According to him, the only reason why Madam Akua Donkor will utter such �lies� is to tarnish the image of PPP and �that we will not allow�. Divine who suspects Madam Akua Donkor to be doing the bidding of someone, has advised her to think of the consequences of what she is doing and �stop peddling the lies�. �What exactly is her problem and why is she talking so much. If you critically analyze her interviews and what she has said for the past few days, you can see that she is not a serious person and Ghanaians cannot take her serious. The allegations are unfounded...apart from the car we gave her to campaign in the Eastern Region, how significantly has she contributed to the party? I don�t think she knows what she is talking about by saying that she is not returning the car. Whether she likes it or not she will return the car� he said.
