Prez Mahama Consoles Family Of The Late Henry Ford Kamel

President John Dramani Mahama has sent his condolences to the family of the family of the late Volta Regional Minister Henry Ford Kamel. This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Information Minister Fritz Baffour. According to the statement, His Excellency the president regrets to announce the death of the Member of Parliament for Buem and the Volta Regional Minister. Adding that further announcements will be forth coming. The Minister died on Christmas Day, while being rushed to the Jasikan District Hospital. He was said to have collapsed in the house, at Guaman, in the Volta Region whilst engaged in a conversation with his guests. Mr Kamel, who was also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Buem Constituency, had been at the position of Regional Minister for barely nine months. Before assuming the position, Mr Kamel, a Banker, was Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources. His first major task as Regional Minister was the settling of the Zongo-Gbi community upheaval at Hohoe. Mr Kamel left behind a wife and three children.
