The New Patriotic Party (NPP) seems to be undecided on which date it intends to file its lawsuit against Electoral Commission on the alleged electoral fraud perpetrated in the December 7 general elections.
The party is expected to have filed a complaint at the Supreme Court to dispute the results of the presidential election.
Speaking to Citi News, the Communications Director of the NPP, Nana Akomea explained that the party itself hasnt come out with an official announcement of the date... Monday is the last day that we have programmed ourselves to file.
We are having a press conference to lay the issues before the Ghanaian public. We are ready. Its just the day of the filing that we have not taken a firm decision. We will do the press conference; we will give the evidence to the people of Ghana,
Nana Akomea intimated.
According to him, after a critical examination of the documents, the evidence becomes more and more gargantuan so we will stretch it till Monday just to be able to take care of all the new evidence that comes in on a daily basis.
