President Mahama to attend emergency summit on Mali
President John Dramani Mahama will on Friday 18 January leave Accra for an emergency summit in Abidjan.
A statement signed by Mr John Abdulai Jinapor, Presidential Spokesperson, and issued to the Ghana News Agency on Thursday, said that the President will be joined by other heads of state from the Sub-region at the summit.
It said the Heads of State would deliberate on the political situation in Mali and formulate strategies for the speedy restoration of peace and constitutional order in Mali.
The statement said the President would return home on Saturday January 19.
