Ras Mubarak, a youth activist of the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC) and a defeated Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma North Constituency in the 2012 elections, Ras Mubarak, has depicted the founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah as a �Crook and a Frustrated Prophet�, and his cacophonies is due to the fact that he want attention from the President. Speaking on Adom FM about how this hullabaloo started, Ras Mubarak stated; �I did not want to involve myself into this because I see Owusu Bempah as a crook and a frustrated man of God.� �..During last year�s election, I together with my campaign team visited his church which happens to be in my constituency to canvas for vote. After the church service, he (Owusu Bempah) bid me and my entourage to his office for discussions,� he said. He added that on speaking with Owusu Bempah, he had wanted to meet the late Professor Mills before his untimely death but the late President�s aides did not permit him. Ras Mubarak believes Owusu Bempah wanted to use his outfit as the aspiring candidate on the ticket of the NDC by then, to lure President Mahama for his alleged prophecy to be addressed and given attention to. �He (Owusu Bempah) told me in face that, since he couldn�t see the late President Mills, I should help him to see the then acting President by arranging a meeting with the President so he could discuss issues with him. �He later told me to aid him get a state auction V8 car from President Mahama since he (Owusu Bempah) is ready to pray to reverse the prophecy,� he said on Adom FM. The NDC youth activist however said Owusu Bempah had earlier on prophesied for his victory in the Ablekuma North Parliamentary contest which he lost. �People like him (Owusu Bempah) should not take a position as a pastor or the so called prophet he claims he is. He told me he had a prophecy that I am going to win the parliamentary election and that the NPP candidate is going to lose. �..He is a frustrated man and just wants attention,� he said. While describing Owusu Bempah as a frustrated man of God, Ras Mubarak indicated that he will be bereft if Owusu Bempah is giving the necessary attention by government. �I will weep if he (Owusu Bempah) gets access to see the president,� he added. Meanwhile, several renowned men of God have debunked the prophecy; including Renowned Radio Pastor and Head of Cedar Mountain Chapel of the Assemblies of God Church, East Legon, Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengham; Presiding Bishop of the Word Miracle Church International, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare and Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams of the Action Faith Chapel.
