President John Mahama has assured the nation that he will accept whatever verdict the Supreme Court issues with regards to the Presidential Election Petition currently before it. He made the announcement on Tuesday during a meeting with the Eastern Region House of Chiefs at the seat of government, the Flagstaff House. Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Oforipanin, President of the Eastern Region House of Chiefs, called on all parties to accept the Supreme Court�s verdict. He also appealed to political party leaders to call their supporters to order and to restrain them from insulting their political opponents.
