He eulogised the late chief for his sublime qualities of truthfulness, honesty, and exceptional adeptness in traditional governance. Throughout his reign he carried himself well and that nobody or group of people ever raised a finger or could find any faults with his conduct, Sheikh Duah noted. He said he demonstrated that he was a true Asante Royal and upheld the values of dignity, high sense of morality, social justice to all manner of persons. The values that led to the establishment of the Asante Kingdom by Otumfuo Osei Tutu 1 were kept by the likes of Oheneba Kwame Kyeretwie, who long realised that privilege meant service to humanity, he said. Sheikh Duah expressed his condolences to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, former President John Agyekum Kufuor and the entire Apagyafie of Kumasi. He called for the youth to emulate the exemplary lifestyle of the departed Apagyahene and learn to serve their communities and country at large with distinction and commitment.
