Charles Kofi Wayo a businessman and Founder of the United Renaissance Party (URP), has categorically stated that, the erratic power and water supply and the prophecy by Rev. Issac Owusu-Bempah are all �part of a very orchestrated plan to get President Mahama out of power� by an influential group of people who work to protect each others interest(the Mafia). According to him, this group of influential people has vowed to devise all means to ensure that the current President is despised by Ghanaians and driven out of power. �All the excuses about obsolete machines and the crude oil story are a �smoke screen�. How come they (the National Petroleum Authority) never tell us how much they collect but are always making noise about the cost of crude oil on the world market. �It is only in Ghana nobody is held for their actions. That is why the head of the Ghana Water Company can sit down for three of his filters to break down and not even the Bureau of National Investigations(BNI) has questioned him,� he argued. Commenting on the performance of the utility service providers, Kofi Wayo told Alhassan Suhini host of the �Tea Cup� programme on Radio Gold that; �GRIDCO, ECG, VRA and Ghana Water would have given the President their work and maintenance schedule for the last six months if we were in America.� Kofi Wayo further alleged that, �there is a plot to make the country ungovernable� by certain group of persons. He wondered how and why a preacher man (Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah) could come out to prophesize about the death of President Mahama if he had not been somewhere or not heard or seen something. �Let us be realistic with life, the mafia are controlling these things...If you are a friend of Mahama, let�s help him build Ghana,� he urged all.
