A 26-year-old galamsey operator, Yaw Kelly has brutally murdered his girlfriend, Abrefi, at Agona Amenfi in the Western Region. Yaw Kelly committed the crime when he saw his girlfriend standing with another man,whom he suspects to be in a relationship with Abrefi. According to Teacher Korsah, Peace FM's Western Regional correspondent, Yaw Kelly has been going out with his 26-year-old girlfriend for three years until he heard that his girlfriend was going out with a different man. Yaw Kelly on Saturday, met his girlfriend standing with the supposed man, went for a cutlass and brutally butchered Abrefi. Yaw Kelly,according to Teacher Korsah said Abrefi had no right to go in for another man because he had been her sole beneficiary. Meanwhile, Yaw Kelly has been arrested and placed in police custody, while Abrefi�s body has since been deposited in the morgue.
