A 26-year-old galamsey operator is alleged to have been killed by the ghost of his girlfriend in police custody at Amenfi Central in the Western Region.
Yaw Kelly brutally murdered his 26-year-old girlfriend with a machete after suspecting that she(Abrefi) was going out with another man.
He was thereafter arrested by the police and sent into custody.
Strangely, Yaw Kelly at midnight, started shouting, calling on the police to come and save him from the grips of his girlfriend.
According to the police, Yaw Kelly said his girlfriend; Abrefi was strangling him; trying to avenge her own death and requested to be taken to the hospital.
However, on arrival at the hospital, Yaw Kelly was reported dead.
