TUC Vows To Equal Wage For Workers To Fuel Price Hikes

The TUC has vowed to fight for a living wage for workers that are commensurate with the quantum of fuel price hikes as announced over the weekend. Speaking to Radio Ghana, TUC Secretary General, Kofi Asamoah says the Union still stands by its strong opposition to the total removal of subsidies on petroleum products. He describes the practice as a lazy man's approach to raising funds. Mr Asamoah also indicated that the Trades Union is ready to collaborate with government and other employers to increase productivity in Ghana.
