Yaw Adomako Baafi, a lawyer and a member of the Communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has advised Hon. Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, a Member of Parliament for Ablekuma Central to leave the leadership of the NPP alone, adding that they are better than that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, the leaders of the NPP will always want to go by the law and the constitution and that is why they are pursuing the case in court; unlike the leaders of the NDC who rigged the 2012 December elections in favour of President John Mahama.
Adomako Baafi was reacting to Hon. Chaie�s call for pastors and prophets in the country to pray for the NPP, since to him they are in deep crisis.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM, Hon. Chaie said the NPP needs to come to the realization that President Mahama is and will continue to be the President of the country.
He added that some of the leaders of the NPP are misleading their members, and if they (members) don�t take care, they will get a �heart attack�.
In a quick rebuttal and speaking on the same platform, Yaw Adomako Baafi said those leaders Hon. Chaie is claiming to be misleading the NPP members are better than that of the NDC; citing Johnson
Asiedu Nketia,General Secretary of the NDC.
He however, added that everybody needs prayers and so he will not begrudge Hon. Chaie for asking the pastors to pray for the party; �I agree with him that we need prayers because we are just leaving by the grace of God...The battle is the Lord�s�.
