All Ghanaians are behind the team. When the team is on an assignment, look at the togetherness and prayers Ghanaians backed the team with. The boys (Black Stars player) must understanding upon donning the national colours, it not just like you are playing for yourself or club. No, these are two different things together, he explained. Speaking to Peacefmonline.com, the former Chairman of the Ghana Boxing Authority and Ace Sports Broadcaster called on the Ghana Football Association to inculcate patriotism both on and off the pitch into the players. They need to put it into their heads and let them (Black Stars players) understand. But if not, they (Black Stars players) probably have to find another place. The players must understand that you are dealing with the whole nation so no one can just write a resignation letter to the GFA. That is an arrogant stand, its not a good sportsmanship, he advised.
