The Media Adviser to John Paintsil, Ebenezer Aidoo, has debunked speculations that the deputy Black Stars captain�s wife, Mrs. Richlove Paintsil was not the one interviewed on Accra-based JOY FM when the alleged assault incident between the couple occurred. TotalShowbiz.com�s investigations revealed that on the day of the incident, JOY FM did not speak to Mrs. Paintsil. On the day of the incident, Joy FM�s Evans Mensah, host of Newsnight, interviewed a lady who claimed to be John Paintsil�s wife, Richlove Paintsil, and pleaded for privacy following reports that the Black Stars deputy captain John Paintsil had battered her. Joy FM�s Anny Osabutey, on his Facebook wall, fueled the speculations that the lady who spoke to Evans Mensah on the said day was not the wife of John Paintsil as reported by the media house. But speaking to Peacefmonline.com, the media adviser to the Paintsil family, Ebenezer Aidoo confirmed that the lady who spoke to JOY FM was indeed the wife of John Paintsil and not a charlatan. �The allegation going on that Richlove wasn�t the one interviewed by JOY FM is not true. The article I read, the guy (Reporter) has no proof. When the incident happened...Richlove did not call JOY FM, JOY FM called Richlove to confirm whether the incident happened or not. �But on all the networks, they are saying Richlove called JOY FM but it�s not like that, JOY FM rather called her (Richlove) to confirm whether an incident happened between her and the husband,� he narrated. Adding; �I want to clear the air that, JOY FM indeed spoke to Richlove Paintsil�. Ebenezer Aidoo stressed that he gave Richlove�s number to JOY FM so they could confirm the alleged assault. Meanwhile, Ebenezer Aidoo is calling on all media houses to respect the privacy of the Paintsil family during these trying moments.
