As the banter between former Minister for Works and Housing, Hon. E.T. Mensah and Ghana Water Company Limited boss, Mr. Kweku Botwe continue to deepen; the CEO of Messrs K. Adu Construction and Plumbing Works Limited, Mr. Kweku Adu Boateng has come out to deny reports that he assisted in duping the state of some whopping amount of monies. The Managing Director of GWCL, Mr. Kweku Botwe and Mr. Kweku Adu Boateng were indicted by a committee�s finding set up by Hon. E.T. Mensah, of callously billing consumers at Amasaman and its environs, three times the price of the mandated rate by the Public Utility Regulatory Commission (PURC). Following a publication of the report in some dailies, a heated exchange ensued between the GWCL boss and Hon. E.T. Mensah on several media platforms, with Mr. Adu Boateng being the latest to join the fray. Mr. Boateng petitioned the office of the President to be wary of �liars� like Hon. E.T. Mensah since he is a dangerous figure working only to satisfy his own parochial interest. �E.T. Mensah is a liar and doesn�t deserve a place in any leadership position...Ask E.T whether the committee he set-up called me to solicit any information from me. They just put out lies in their findings�. �That report E.T. Mensah is using to tarnish my image is an old meeting the board held and he has just added my name to it to make it appear as if it is something new and recently signed,� he noted.
