RLG Goofed With Chris Brown; His Criminal Record Has Destroyed Ghanas Reputation

A member of the communication team of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu-Bempah has reprimanded RLG, a Ghanaian Communications company that it has made a big mistake by inviting Chris Brown to perform in the country. He explained that Ghana as a sovereignty state has a Constitution which disallowed certain behaviors in the country; citing that the law forbids anyone from smoking in public or even carry drugs in the country. Speaking on Okay FMs Ghana Decides program on Friday, he stressed that Chris Browns criminal record of beating girlfriend Rihanna should have disqualified him making entry into the country; as he was denied visa into the United Kingdom for a performance because of this same criminal record. He further said that this singular act of Chris Brown has rubbed the nation off its respect and integrity before the international community and that our leaders must be serious with the conduct exhibited by the 24-year-old American hip-hop superstar. He however rained anger on Ghanaians who defended what Chris Brown did, saying; I am so sorry that some people try to defend what he did; that he used electronic cigar, while in the full glare of Ghanaians, he was seen smoking weed. Evil is now good and good is seen as evil, he added. He cautioned that Ghanaians should desist from using emotions to pass judgment on what is right from wrong; adding that it would eventually kill and destroy the Ghana since nobody was prepared to tell the truth as it should be in the country. According to the leading member of FONKA, we are running Ghana like children playing. Touching on RLGs sponsorship for the Hope City concert, Owusu-Bempah said that the company should have invested the one million dollars into the CEOs own hometown which has no potable water in the Northern Region. He again said that the invitation of Chris Brown to Ghana has undermined the intention of Hope City and given it a wrong image; in that the American artiste, Chris Brown threatened his mother at the age of 14 years and instead RLG could have used local artists to stage the concert and would have achieved the intended results. He said that with the monopoly RLG enjoys in the country, Ghanaians should enquire from RLG the source of its money when there is no water and light in the country, but has invested this huge money into a concert which is of no benefit to the tax payer. According to Owusu-Bempah, with the current attitude of Ghanaians not to take the leaders on their failures and asking the right questions, Ghana would be destroyed; adding that; Ghana is going into a state of lawlessness as the nation endures the inability of the leaders of the country.
