Where Is Hope In This Country For rLG to Build a 'HOPE CITY'?

Deputy Director of Communications of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah has questioned Ghanaian owned telecommunication and technological company-rLG for their quest to build a 'Hope City'. Thousands of people from all walks of life watched the launching ceremony on television networks across the country signifying the historic take off of the 10billion ICT Hub and developmental enclave in Ghana. Over 300 privileged guests joined an array of high profile dignitaries including Ghana's President John Mahama to launch the project which will take between 3-5 years to complete. The tough-talking NDP communicator, Owusu-Bempah sees no reason why the President graced the occasion since there in no hope under his leadership. Seriously, we dont have electricity, we dont have gas, and we dont have light. People are queuing all over the place and our President graced the Hope City launch. The President of the republic of Ghana walked straight to Hope City and inaugurates that. You know what the international community thinks about Ghana when they look at us (Ghanaians), they laugh because we are not a serious country, he said. According to Owusu-Bempah, Ghana is now facing utilities crisis and therefore there is no hope for such project to be executed. What is hope, where is hope, where is hope in this country when we dont have light. Even the Chris Brown that they (rLG) brought, when he came the country was in darkness, there is no water and even the President is still battling court issues concerning election results. Is this country (Ghana) a better country? he asked. Who can tell me that rLG has justified that they can bring hope and they are bringing hope and everyone is happy about that. We are not serious as a country and if we dont take care the future of this country will be destroyed by ourselves, because we (Ghanaians) are not serious people. We dont ask questions, we dont put pressure. We dont do the right thing to question our authorities. Ghana is going into a state of lawlessness, Owusu-Bempah was speaking on OKAY FMs GHANA DECIDES programme.
