Ghanaian football legend Abedi Ayew Pele, has stated that he is hoping to see a better improvement in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after an unopposed re-election of Issa Hayatou recently. Cameroonian Issa Hayatou has been re-elected unopposed as Confederation of African Football (CAF) president for a final four-year term in office. The 66-year-old, who was voted into power in 1988, has already said this seventh term will be his final period as head of the organization. He is the fifth CAF president and by far the longest serving. According to Abedi Ayew Pele who has also served on both FIFA and CAF committees, the future of CAF is a bit risky under the Hayatou led administration but hoping there will be an enhancement in his final year in office. �The future of CAF is a little bit dicey and I can say that this is what African football has been doing for the past few years considering the federation and going as far as the confederation. So this has been a system FA�s and the confederations are using to grip on power, so what can we say? We will just lay back and watch them do those tricks and hope the right things will be done sooner or later,� he told Peace FM on �Peace Power Sports�
