Felix Ofosu Kwakye Must 'Tone Down, Listen More & Say Less'

Deputy National Coordinator for the National Youth Council (NYC), Prince Derek Adjei has advised his fellow party member, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, who has been nominated for the position of a Deputy Minister designate for Information and Media Relations to tone down, listen more and say less'. According to him, there is the need especially now; as a deputy minister to listen to his critics who have described him as loud-mouthed and insolent and be a little sober. Felix, who is a member of the communication team of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) was part of the list of Deputy Ministers designate issued from the Presidency on Friday. Apart from him, Hon Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu was also nominated as a Deputy Minister designate of Education. The rest are: Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, Ministry of Justice and Attorney-Generals Department, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources. Speaking to Suhiyini Alhassan on Radio Golds Alhaji and Alhaji, Prince Derrick Adjei said: He is a very articulate young person, he speaks very well and defends very vigorously, robustly and sometimes people misconstrue his robust nature for disrespect. But theres been a few cautions and now that he is coming in as a deputy minister, perhaps he should listen to those pieces of advice; even if it is from the wrong places. It will be useful for him to tone down a little bit, listen more, say less and yet make his point Prince also commended President Mahama for appointing young people at the fore of governance to contribute their quota to society.
